Northwest Fire Weather Summary
Little change is expected in the fire weather pattern over the geographic area during the holiday weekend. Expect morning clouds west of the Cascades and sunny, dry conditions on the east side. Temperatures will run below normal most areas. Humidity near normal east side. Conditions on Saturday favor isolated wet thundershowers over northeast Oregon and possibly northeast Washington.
Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Main fire threat appears to remain in light fuels with westerly to southwesterly winds near the Columbia River Gorge and Columbia Basin. Human ignition will provide the best potential for activity over the weekend.
