In September 2001, Bureau of Land Management employee Chris Papen and his fire team were called to assist with the tragedy that was unfolding in New York City. In this interview Chris reflects on his assignment, visiting ground zero, the role that his Incident Management Team played, the importance of teamwork, and his thoughts on the event decades later.
