Air and ground resources are engaged in initial attack on the Falls Fire, on the Emigrant Creek Ranger District.
The fire is located approximately 25 miles NW of Burns, around the Falls campground, off Forest Road 4300. The fire is currently 180 acres, burning in timber on steep terrain.
Be prepared for increased traffic and smoke to be visible throughout the area, as resources continue firefighting operations. The public is reminded to use caution if in the area, and always recreate responsibly.
