Mild weather yesterday with warm conditions in Southern Oregon. Light scattered precipitation through most of the geographic area with moderate precipitation across Central Oregon. Light initial attack over the holiday weekend with two fires in Eastern Oregon reported near 50 acres. One prescribed fire reported 200 acres of accomplishment yesterday with two units reporting planned prescribed burning.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Weak high pressure will keep conditions mild and cool through Wednesday. On Thursday, the first of two strong weather systems will bring widespread rain and very high winds. A second strong system is currently forecast for the late Saturday,Sunday time period. Significant fire potential remains low through the forecast period.
