Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Seasonal temperatures across the region. No lighting is expected through the work week with an increasing threat by the weekend as another warming trend sets in and peaks on Friday. Large fire threat is above average in rangeland fuels and lower elevation timber due to fire danger that is about 3 to 4 weeks ahead of normal values. Significant fire potential will increase to high risk with this weekend lightning in Eastern Oregon.
