Northwest Fire Potential Summary
The threat of thunderstorms expands to most of Oregon east of the Cascade crest and Southeast Washington today. Due to the dry fuels, ignition potential is high. Thursday, breezy winds east of the Cascades as a cold front moves across the region with a lingering chance of an isolated thunderstorm along the Idaho border. Initial attack capabilities are expected to be heavily stressed during this period. Warm and dry conditions return Friday with a high probability of offshore winds in Southwest Oregon on Saturday.
