Northwest Weather Highlights / Fire Potential:
The weather system that moved onshore yesterday will be exiting eastward into Idaho and Montana this afternoon. A few more showers and possible thundershowers are likely today in eastern Washington. A dry offshore flow will be developing west of the Cascades over the next few days as a thermal trough builds northward along the coast. This will help boost burning conditions in western Oregon in the Thursday through Saturday period.
