Northwest Weather Highlights / Fire Potential:
Northwest Weather Highlights / Fire Potential:
An upper trough will be drifting through the PacNW today resulting in a “marine push” with moderately strong west winds in the usual spots east of the Cascades. By Thursday we will be back into an extended offshore east wind pattern that looks like it may last right on through the weekend and into early next week. This will further dry fuels west of the Cascades, once again elevating burning conditions. IA activity expected to remain light with no significant lightning expected.
