Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Moderate conditions continue west of the Cascades. Warm, sunny conditions will continue east of the Cascades through Friday. Significant fire potential slowly increases through the period. Breezy conditions develop in the Cascade gaps today and Friday. Elevated potential for wind-driven fires in the Columbia basin. There are chances of wind driven fires in rangelands and moderate fire behavior can be expected in bitter brush and moisture stressed timber areas.
