Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Warm, sunny conditions will continue through Friday with a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon and evening in the Washington and northern Oregon mountains. A stable, high pressure ridge will maintain the warming and drying trend and significant fire potential will continue to increase.  Increasing chances of wind driven fires in cured rangeland grasses. Moderate fire behavior can be expected in bitter brush and stressed timber areas.
