Moderate fire behavior with isolated torching and short-range spotting. Continue burnout operations and securing established holding lines. Evacuation notices, road, trail and area closures in effect.
Elmer City WA-COA-000129. ICT3. 1 mile North of Coulee Dam. Start 9/11. Full Suppression. Cause: Human. 5,400 acres (-200). Decrease in acreage due to more accurate mapping. Grass and light Timber. 88% containment. Minimal fire behavior with creeping and backing. Road and area closures in effect.
Old Lady Creek WA-SPD-000497. ICT3. 21 miles E of Goldendale, WA. Start 9/10. Full Suppression. Cause: Human. 2,771 acres (+0). 95% containment. Grass and Brush. Minimal fire behavior with isolated smoldering. Continued mop-up operations.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Dry and warm weather will prevail across the geographic area through Friday with generally light winds. An approaching cold front will move through the region Saturday into Sunday bringing increased winds and a chance of rain particularly in Northwest Washington and higher elevations of the Cascades. Post frontal passage, temperatures will cool but the geographic area will remain relatively dry. Significant fire potential remains at normal levels through the forecast period.
