Northwest Activity Summary
Most of the region received some light precipitation yesterday with the exception of a dry slot across south central Oregon, through the Blue Mountains and Harney Basin. Lightning tracked across the north central Cascades of Oregon. Temperatures were average and winds were light to moderate. Initial attack activity was light.

Northwest Fire Weather Summary
Showers and wet thundershowers will continue or expand around the geographic area on Friday and Saturday before moving east on Sunday. General winds will increase from the west over sections of central Washington and Oregon. Expect a cooling trend. Overall, conditions look cool and moist for the time being. Northwest Fire Potential Summary
While damp conditions will keep significant fire potential generally low through the forecast period, PSA NW10 (Columbia Basin) will see some elevated risk Friday due to thunderstorms and winds. Fire behavior concerns will start to increase across the drier basins in the geographic area.
