Northwest Fire Weather Summary
Showery conditions persist today with potential for isolated wet thunderstorms mainly in central and eastern Oregon this afternoon and evening. Expect a breezy afternoon today across central and eastern Oregon. Upper level ridging brings warming and drying beginning Wednesday, but with some isolated showers lingering at higher elevations. Temperatures will gradually rise, and humidity fall into the weekend. Some weak systems will ride over the ridge this weekend bringing a chance for light precipitation at times to western Washington and northwestern Oregon. See your local NWS forecasts for details in your area.
Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Significant fire potential will remain generally low through the week owing to moist conditions, but fire danger indices will gradually increase with warming and drying in the second half of the week. Fire behavior concerns will be very low for the next few days.
