Seasonal conditions region wide with breezy winds on the east side. A few lightning strikes in Northeast Washington along the Canadian border most with some precipitation. Light initial attack yesterday with 1 new large fire reported. IMT2, Team 9, Goff was ordered for the Great Basin.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Decreasing winds east of the Cascades today with seasonal temperatures across the region. No lighting is expected through the work week with an increasing threat by the weekend as another warming trend sets in. Large fire threat is above average in rangeland fuels and lower elevation timber due to fire danger that is about 3 to 4 weeks ahead of normal values.
