Northwest Fire Weather Summary
Warmer and drier for much of the geographic area today. Winds will remain fairly light except in sections of Southeastern Oregon. A weak disturbance passing through Washington late Monday may bring some renewed lightning risk east of the Cascades.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Low potential for new large fires in the region today due to generally light winds for most of the area and lack of concentrated lightning ignitions. Growth potential on existing incidents remains limited as well through the foreseeable future. Fire danger indices will rise considerably next week as hotter and drier weather sets into the region on both sides of the Cascades.
