Summary: A cold front brought cooler temperatures over the fire area yesterday. Fire activity was greatly reduced, giving firefighters an opportunity to make excellent progress putting out hot spots, removing snags, reinforcing fire line, and mopping up. Crews are also busy repairing dozer lines and other fire suppression damages.
Current Situation: With burnouts and line construction complete, firefighters will continue the post-fire activities from yesterday. Demobilization of resources started and will continue over the next few days.
Weather: Cloud cover, high humidity, and cooler temperatures will aid firefighters in their work today. A warming and drying trend will arrive early next week.
