Northwest Weather Highlights / Fire Potential:

Large fire potential has dropped back to typical levels as winds have dropped in the Columbia Basin and along the east slopes of the Cascades. On Sunday a few lightning starts are possible in Northeast Oregon (PSA NW11) but new fire starts are anticipated to be numerous enough to strain initial attack capability.
