There is a chance of some isolated lightning again today mainly in extreme northern portions of eastern Washington with less of a chance in NE Oregon. Only light IA would be expected with very low threat for large fires. Focus remains on next weekend when a more potent lightning event is possible, coming after several days of hot and dry weather.
