Summary: In the Northwest (last 24 hrs), no new lightning reported. Three additional team deployments, CA IMT1 (Oplinger), mobilizing to manage the southern portion of the Carlton Complex. IMT2, WA Team 3 (Allbee)  also mobilizing to the Carlton Complex and IMT2, EB Team 6 (Dunford) mobilizing to manage the Ochoco Complex.

Ochoco Complex OR-OCF-000390. IMT2. EB Team 6 (Dunford). 17 mi E of Post, OR. Start 7/13. 905 acres. Complex includes Oscar (315 acres, 80% cont.), Lava (180 acres), Fox (400 acres), Broadway,  and Antelope (10 acres). Limited information available at this time.

Sand Hills WA-COA-000115. ICT3 (Rogers). 11 mi SW of Okanogan, WA. Start 7/18. Timber. Cause lightning. 375 acres 90% containment. Minimal fire behavior. Mop-up ongoing. This incident was a spot fire from the Carlton Complex that crossed the Okanogan River.

Donnybrook. 11 mi SW of Antelope. 3,000 acres. On private land protected by the Ash Butte Rural Fire Protection Association. ODF is managing the fire as it moves towards ODF protected lands. Limited information available.

Black Rock. 3 mi NW of Clarno, OR. 14,000 acres. Primarily burning on unprotected private lands. The BLM is assisting landowners, providing point protection to homes and highways. Limited information available.

Center. 3 mi NE of Post, OR. 16,000 acres. 25% containment. Prineville BLM. Good progress reported on the fire. Limited information available.

Extensive damage to major powerlines. ICP has lost power. Values at risk; communities of Brewster, Malott, Winthrop, Twisp, Chelan, and Okanogan. Level 1, 2, and 3 evacuations. Stokes Road, French Creek , and Golden Hike fires have merged. Includes Cougar Flats fire. Washington State fire mobilization in effect. Chiwaukum Creek WA-OWF-000356. IMT1. PNW Team 3 (Lewis). 9 mi NW of Leavenworth, WA. Start 7/15. Timber. Cause lightning. 8,418 acres (+3,838 ac). 0% containment. Active fire behavior. Values at risk; cabins, homes, powerlines, logging equipment, T&E species and natural resources. Level 1, 2, and 3 evacuations. Hwy 2 is closed. Washington state fire mob authorized. This incident is being managed as a branch of Mills Canyon.

Waterman Complex OR-952S-014165. IMT2. OR Team 3 (Johnson, D). 10 mi NE of Mitchell, OR. Start 7/14. Timber, grass understory. Cause lightning. 7,865 acres (+1,825 ac). 35% containment. Northwest Weather Highlights / Fire Potential:

A weather disturbance from the Pacific will bring some rain to western Washington on Saturday and sections of the northern Oregon coast. Inland, expect cooler conditions with some clouds, smoke, and higher humidity but continued gusty westerly winds in exposed spots. Decreasing winds on Sunday with cooler temperatures and higher humidity.
