Northwest Activity Summary
Yesterday continued with moderate levels of precipitation along the coastal ranges and higher elevations with traces in the Columbia Basin and Southeastern Oregon. Overcast and cooler conditions for most of yesterday. Initial attack activity was light.

Northwest Fire Weather Summary
Showery and cool through Friday morning. Wet thundershowers at times, mainly over the higher terrain in both Oregon and Washington. A break from precipitation is expected Friday afternoon until the next weather system starts across the region Saturday afternoon. No critical combinations of low humidity and strong wind expected for the time being.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Fire danger will drop significantly this week due  to the onset of moisture and cooler conditions.
