Northwest Activity Summary
Precipitation over the holiday weekend was widespread. Coverage in the basins was light while the coastal ranges, the Cascades and east side mountain ranges had moderate coverage. Temperatures were average with partly cloudy skies. Initial attack activity was light.

Northwest Fire Weather Summary
Scattered showers today over the Washington Cascades, northeastern Washington and southeastern Oregon give way to warming and drying through most of the work week. Thunderstorm chances start to pick up Thursday in southern Oregon with storms likely for most of Oregon Friday and moving into Washington Saturday. General winds should be light until the storms arrive. Drier conditions return for the beginning of next week. Check your NWS forecasts for local details.
Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Significant fire potential will remain at or below normal for the week, but lightning following a few days of warm, dry weather will boost potential for ignition and fire behavior. Open aspects or south slope areas with fine fuels, thatch or duff have the potential to support active fire behavior.
