Lists
fires (of any size) that singly utilize Monitor, Confine or Point Zone
Protection suppression strategies, or use Multiple Suppression Strategies
(which may also include a Full Suppression component).Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Hot and dry with unstable conditions as a dry cold front pushes across Eastern Washington. This will bring a reversal in wind direction to much of the region and transfer the highest fire potential to the east side. Windy and dry conditions on the east side will promote significant fire spread. The Columbia Basin is at “High Risk” for new large fires and most other areas are at elevated risk. Conditions will moderate slightly Monday and Tuesday before a new heat wave arrives.
