Sunny, warm and dry yesterday with moderate winds. Lightning in the far northeast corner of Washington with light precipitation. Light initial attack, with the largest fire (Hot Springs) reported at 300 acres in Northcentral Oregon. Moderate growth reported on large fires.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary

Gradual warming trend with dry conditions today through Friday.  Northerly winds on the east side with dry offshore flow on the west side.  A strong cold front is expected to bring gusty west winds Saturday. Fire potential remains elevated in most locations across the region.
