Northwest Fire Potential Summary:
The weather and fire potential will moderate today following Friday’s critical weather system. Winds will decrease significantly today and the atmosphere will stabilize and greatly reduce the risk of thunderstorms. Holdover fires are still likely to be found from previous lightning but initial attack should be less intense due to the moderating conditions across most of the region.
