Northwest Fire Potential Summary:
Lightning chances and coverage increase across southern, central, and eastern Oregon today and into early next week with strong outflow winds possible. Isolated thunderstorms are possible today and tomorrow in western Oregon. Hot, dry, and unstable conditions remain today across portions of the region along and east of the Cascades. Onshore flow will elevate RH across western Oregon and Washington and deeper monsoonal moisture could produce some wetting rain associated with the thunderstorms. Lightning could stretch into southern and eastern Washington and possibly into northern Washington beginning today and continuing into next week.
