Northwest Fire Potential Summary:

An upper weather disturbance offshore will rotate bands of moisture and instability over the region for the next several days. This will result in isolated thunderstorms over much of the geographic area east of the Cascades but also over the west side at times as well. Lightning will elevate the potential for new large fires over sections of Central and Northeastern Oregon and probably Eastern Washington as well as this weather pattern evolves.
