Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Up to several inches of rain have fallen on the west slopes of the Oregon Cascades with more to come on Tuesday and Wednesday. Less amounts of rain have fallen east of the Cascades and little in central Washington near the Canadian border. Potential for new large fires is diminishing rapidly as cool, wet weather settles into the region for the next few days. Fire danger indices are headed downwards until drier weather shows up over the weekend.
