Some lightning and moderate precipitation in NE Oregon. Light initial attack throughout the geographic area. Moderate growth on the Blue Creek fire with no growth reported on other existing large fires.

Active fire behavior with uphill runs, torching and spotting. Structures lost and more threatened. Evacuation and road closures in effect. City of Walla Walla Watershed and Blue Wood Ski area threatened.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary:

Westerly flow continues to bring cloudy and cooler conditions across the geographic area. Another upper trough moves through the region over the weekend, which will bring some lightning to parts of eastern Oregon and central/eastern Washington. Cooler and cloudy conditions will develop with the passage of the weekend trough including some shower activity. Large fire potential remains low through the weekend.
