Northwest Fire Weather Summary
The weather is expected to gradually become cooler and wetter over the region, beginning first in western Washington and spreading southward as a series of weak cold front fronts move ashore from the Pacific in the next 7 days. The first moved through Washington Friday evening and more will follow at intervals. The cumulative effect will be a drop in temperatures and a boost in humidity across the region. Increased westerly general winds.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Fire danger indices will drop as the cooler, cloudier, moister conditions take hold over the region for the next week. The risk for development of new significant fires and flareups on existing fires will drop correspondingly.

Note: The cooler temperatures and precipitation over the Cascades may pose weather exposure risks for fire personal during the coming week.
