Northwest Fire Potential Summary:
An upper ridge over the area continues to build which means more warming and drying. Friday will be the warmest day on the west while Saturday will be on the east side. Instability will increase as the temperatures rise. Warming and instability will elevate the burning conditions for ongoing incidents east of the Cascades. Winds are generally expected to stay light until Sunday when the weather pattern begins to shift.
