National Creek Fire 9/21/2015
- The South Central Oregon Incident Management Team, Leland Hunter, IC and Aaron Kendall, IC3(t) will transfer command of the National Creek Complex to the Rogue-Siskiyou National Forest, the Umpqua National Forest and the Crater Lake National Park on Tuesday at 0700.
- Smoldering conditions within the containment line will continue in areas of dry heavy fuels until a weather changing event occurs.
- There will be aerial and ground crews still patrolling the fire ready to take action if needed. They will continue to clean up and strengthen the lines
- The Burn Area Emergency Response (BAER) Teams will continue their work within the burn area identifying areas in need of critical stabilization and rehabilitation.
