NARRATIVE:
Several days have been spent extinguishing hot spots in areas that pose a potential threat to the fire line. Additionally, in heavy timbered areas, firefighters have been working on felling snags which jeopardize the fire line or that are a safety hazard to the workers. Today, fire officials will be assessing remaining work to be done in order to achieve100% containment.
Work planned for today includes continuing mop-up and monitoring the entire fire area as the weather is forecasted to be warmer and drier.
