National Creek Fire 9/7/2015
  • Hotter and drier weather is forecast to enter the region this week. Due to this warming and drying trend fire activity may increase.
  • Smoke is visible from highway 230. Firefighters are working to mitigate these areas of concern.
     
  • Rehabilitation is taking place in various parts of the fire. All suppression and rehabilitation actions are being conducted using tactics that provide protection of cultural and natural resources.

    Drive cautiously; there is an influx of tourists in the area this Labor Day weekend.
