· High temperatures accompanied with low
relative humilities in
the
region
persist, and are likely to in- tensify fire activity.
· Smokes are visible from highway
230, Diamond Lake, and Crater Lake. Firefighters are working hard to
suppress the fire with helicopter support
as well as
ground tactics.
· On the south side of the fire, firefighters are continuing to
work on securing the fire perimeter east of
Bald Crater Loop
trail.
· Drive cautiously with
headlights on
while driving through highway 230; there will be areas of smoke
and fire traffic.
