Northwest Fire Potential Summary:
A building ridge will bring warming and drying through the week with the warmest day being Friday or Saturday. A thermal trough will emerge over western Oregon and drift into the Cascades and central portions of the region in the afternoons bringing elevated burning conditions over existing large fires. IA and new large fire potential is low and no significant lightning is expected until possibly Sunday.
