Level 1 evacuation for the Soil Poil Fires between Bridge Creek & 30 Mile west of Hwy 21 in now in place. Three fires located in the San Poil north of 30 Keller, WA are fueled by slash left by a windstorm that came through the area 2 years ago.  The terrain is steep and rocky with limited access making it difficult for fire fighters to get to certain portions of the fire. Yesterday and today air resources are being utilized in the difficult portions of the fire while dozers and fire fighters continue to construct fire lines around the fires. Another fire located near Timm Brothers Ranch on Columbia River Road approximately 20 miles North of Nespelem, WA is currently the largest fire is approximately 500 acres fueled by grass and sage.  Air Resources are also being utilized at this location.

Today and tomorrow the weather is expected to remain hot with low humidity with the possibility of thunderstorms returning to the area.

MTFC is meeting with a Type 3 Team this afternoon. A Type 2 Team is expected to arrive tomorrow bringing in additional resources.

There are no road closures but use caution while traveling through the area of the fires
