Northwest Fire Weather Summary
A gradual cooling trend is moving over the region to end the phase of very high temperatures. The atmosphere is stabilizing so the threat of thunderstorms appears to be quite low for the next several days. Normal wind patterns will return, including the Columbia Basin and Columbia River Gorge for Friday and through the weekend. Check your local NWS fire weather forecast for details.

Northwest Fire Potential Summary
Rangeland fires in light fuels appear to be the main threat in the Columbia River Gorge and Columbia Basin for the next several days. Conditions are not optimal to boost the threat of large fires.
