Northwest Fire Weather Summary
Warm, dry weather will be in place most of the next week, with only slight chances for showers late Sunday and mid-week as low pressure systems traverse the region. Afternoon relative humidity will be low, but with decent overnight recoveries. Wind prone areas could see an uptick in the wind Sunday and Wednesday/Thursday as systems pass through. Check your NWS forecast for timing details for your area.
Northwest Fire Potential Summary

Drier conditions will allow continued expansion of activity fuels burning and gusty winds could raise some concern at times for prescribed fire managers. As such, units should request and review NWS spot weather forecasts in preparation for prescribed fire operations.
