This past week all areas received light precipitation. Temperatures dropped to average while partly cloudy skies prevailed over the region in the evenings. Initial attack was minimal. Prescribed burning was widespread as conditions allowed. Initial attack activity was light.

Northwest Fire Weather Summary
Strong temperature inversions will be in place across the West through the weekend as a ridge of high pressure drifts east toward to Continental Divide as another moderately strong weather system begins to move on shore into the Pacific Northwest Sunday bringing snow to the Cascades.
Northwest Fire Potential Summary
With substantial precipitation coming to Oregon and western Washington, the potential for new significant fires will remain minimal across the region through the weekend.
