Northwest Activity Summary
Early in the week precipitation tracked across the region from southwest to northeast at moderate levels. Later, the pattern changed to the Coastal Range and Cascades receiving heavy amounts of coverage while the lower elevation Columbia and Harney Basin areas received traces. Winds were calm and overcast to partly cloudy skies through the week. Light levels of lightning occurred across the Region. Prescribed fire activity was limited to pile burns and initial attack was light.
