Northwest Weather Highlights / Fire Potential:

Initial attack activity will decrease on Friday due to lessening lightning. What showers and thundershowers linger on Friday will mainly occur over sections of northeastern Oregon and Washington. During the weekend a gradual clearing and drying trend will set in for the region as a drier and more stable westerly flow sets in.
