Night
shift had a quiet night with low fire activity. Firefighters extinguished hot
spots from the earlier burn-out operations.
This will be the last night shift. Day shift plans are to continue to
hold line, patrol and mop-up hot spots with assistance from helicopter water
drops as needed. An initial attack group
has been designated to respond to any new fire starts in the immediate vicinity.
Weather: Thunder storms are again predicted for this afternoon
with a 10% chance of wetting rain. Firefighters
will remain diligent and be prepared for these storms could create gusty and erratic
winds increasing fire behavior. Temperatures today will be in the mid-90

established over the fire area. Please
check the NOTAM for current information.
